Stormy Days and Ten Days Blog Challenge - Day #3

If you are in the Gulf Coast FL area, you probably are ready to trade in your car for a kayak or some type of boat. Tropical Storm Debby has been vacationing in the Gulf and leaving a lot of rain, flooding, and crazy winds behind. Luckily the weather is clearing, and my parent's flight can make it safe and sound! In the meantime,Ten Days Blog Challenge - Day #3 - Eight Ways to Win My Heart1. Prepare/Do/Take/Etc something I really like - If you put a little thought into it, I would love it! I am bad at asking for gifts. I feel ashamed to ask for anything. But when I love something, you'll know...because I get excited to the point that I won't shut up about it.  I am very grateful with everything my hubby gave me but when he gets me that one thing that I have been drooling over, and does it in a way that I don't suspect anything, Double score! Don't get me wrong, It is not even for the thing itself. It is more about the feeling that he is taking the time to think about what would make it special. For example, I am not a very fancy girl in terms of jewelry. But I LOVE weird and unique pieces. So, when he proposed, instead of going the traditional route and getting me an engagement ring, he got me a Celtic knot ring with an amethyst in it. It was perfect! My kind of jewelry!2.  Keep In touch - Everybody love feeling wanted. A phone call, a text, an email, anything that would let me know you are part of my life. I would do the same, so please replay to mine!3. Locally Own Coffee Shops - I grew up on a Coffee farm, so coffee for me symbolize comfort. Local Coffee shops not only make a great effort to provide Fair Trade Coffee ( and keeping farms like my granddad's in business) but it is a great place to hang out and relax.4. A Bottle of Wine and a good conversation - Or a beer, or Margaritas, or Mojitos....but the conversation is not optional!5. Watching a Musical - I do love Musicals, and I know my husband hates them. But every time he agrees to watch one with me...it is awesome!6. Having a Strong opinion - I love a good conversation and there is nothing more appealing than when my husband has some strong opinion about any topic. For me, it says a lot about his character hearing him talk about something he feels so strongly about.7. HIRE ME (J/K...no, but really) - more than hire me, refer me. I need positive reinforcement, that's the fuel that moves me, and knowing that my clients loved my work to the point to send their friends and family to me, it "melts" me!8. (This is hard...I guess you can win my heart easily)...Fell in love with my Geek/Tom Boy side - I was the kind of girl that grew up playing with dolls on Tonka Trucks and having tea parties on a tree branch. I love my geek side and any person who wants to win my heart have to respect that (No Bullies allowed). I am one lucky girl to marry a handsome geek who indulge my love for video games and vampire movies (NO, no twilight...more like Dark Shadows, Interview with a Vampire and Walking Dead kind of vampire) or my The Big Bang Theory Marathons and random wizard spells (Scourgify!) when I don't want to do house chores! (I love you, Ob!)Happy Wednesday!
