Ten Day Blog Challenge, Day #1 - Tampa Bay Wedding and Portrait Photographer
As part of my "getting more out there" mission, I want to keep my blog active and running. I truly believe that online presence is becoming an essential part of marketing nowadays, especially blogs. There is something about reading it on a blog that makes it more real, we connect better. But sometimes it is hard to keep yourself inspired with things to say or share. A fellow Showiter and photographer, Wendy Cunningham, came up with the idea of doing a 10 day Blog Challenge. I love lists and this list-type challenge may be perfect for me...so Let's get Going!
Ten Day Blog Challenge - DAY #1 - Ten Reasons You Love Your Job
1. Taking Pictures, Capturing memories and the ability to freeze time. It is always humbling when people choose me to do that...2. Flexible Time - Although I have to work mostly on weekends it feels great not to have to go to an office/cubicle to work. (Been There, Done that, that's why I am a photographer now!)3. Lunch Time - Being able to have lunch with my hubby almost every day and cook for him!4. Office with a view - If I feel to stress out, I just grab my laptop and move to the sunroom or to the park. (My Office is where I can take my laptop!)5. Magazines - I can go to a bookstore and raid the Magazine/Newspaper section in the name of research!6. Creativity - The freedom to express it, not only with my clients but on my personal projects. I love when my right side of the brain takes over.7. Travel - Being part of this business gives the opportunity to travel not only to a shoot but for conferences, workshops, trading shows.8. Work attire - No business attire needed for working from home9. Networking - being a photographer as giving me the chance to meet not only other photographers (I love my ShowIt Community) but with other creative people: designers, planners, makeup artists, etc.10. Working for your dreams - I love being my own boss and take decisions over how to run my business. I love working towards MY dream and not SOMEBODY Else.Happy Wednesday!
