My First Comic Con, MegaCon 2013

If you don't know already, I am a self-proclaimed geek. I love video gaming, books, wizards, zombies, hobbits, spaceships,... you name it. This year I got the chance to go to my first Con, MegaCon in Orlando. My hubby and I, along with two of our best friends, decided to dress up but we wanted to be on a budget. After a couple of ideas, We agreed on the 4 Links from The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. With a little help of YouTube tutorials on the hats and swords and a trip to our local thrift stores, I think we got a decent representation! What do you think?  

As a photographer in Cosplay, it was a challenge. I wanted to see everything but at the same time photographed everything. But we had a blast! We tried to take photos with every Link or Zelda character we found and got asked for our photo more than we expected.

Let me tell you, there is nothing like imagination! Some of the cosplay were spot on, others were so great adding their own twist!

It was a great but exhausting experience! And will definitely do it again, but maybe assigning somebody to be the official photog while the others pose/cosplay! LOL let's see! Maybe...DragonCon!
