Puerto Rico Weddings :: Destination Weddings :: Maritza & Eyad

It was the perfect day, a little overcast but not bad for this morning wedding in Puerto Rico. The secluded resort, Bahia Salinas, close to the Cabo Rojo Lighthouse in the South West corner of the Island, was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding.

They opted for the first look and, boy, I am glad they did. Eyad's reaction was priceless.

I also love getting the Father of the Bride "first look" ...

With the Caribbean Sea as a background, they exchanged vows in a sweet ceremony full of laughs and Spanglish.

As a gift for the couple and in honor of Eyad heritage, they had a Bellydancer performing for them. She made them dance as well!

The groom and best man were a little impatience about the cake cutting.

If you may recall from their engagement session, Maritza's sister gave Eyad the nickname "Aladdin", not only because of his roots but because of the way he always treats Maritza like a princess. It wasn't a surprise finding a  combination of tropical flowers infused by middle eastern details as the theme for the wedding, including Aladdin and Jasmine matching iPhone Covers.

Maritza and Eyad, Thanks again for the honor of capturing your day! I wish you guys all the happiness...
