Unicorn 30th Smash Cake - Adriana Turns 30!

Turning 30? This Unicorn 30th Smash cake would make turning 30 the best birthday yet!  I've been watching the trend go, women taking their birthdays back, having fun with it instead of dwelling on the number. Adrians's Unicorn 30th Smash Cake was all of that and more.

When Adriana contacted with this idea, I was thrilled since I've been wanting to do a session like this. We set up a date and let me tell it was one of the funnest shoot ever. We met at their house in Stockbridge, GA and started the day shooting some wedding portraits (that is the story for another blog, so stay tune). After that we transformed her nook into the studio. The fun thing about Adriana's personality (and what makes this shoot even more awesome) is that when she has an idea, she goes all out. She will dream it, plan it and make it happened.

We set up some of her favorite things, and play with them a little while she finished getting ready.

Now, can we talk about the cake? how cute is it? Her friend Rebecca made it for her and it couldn't be more perfect.
