Petro Waterfront Mansion, St Petersburg Fl - Jennifer + MJ

Jennifer and MJ wedding at the Petro Waterfront Mansion in St Petersburg Fl was a really relaxing day, how every wedding should be. The Mansion, like the name suggests, is by the water with its own private boat dock. It also has plenty of rooms for your bridal party or immediate family. It is perfect for this time of weekend intimate wedding like their plan. When I got to the mansion, they were by the pool hanging out with some of their family that was staying with them at the mansion.

Jennifer decided to go with a suit (pair with a beautiful necklace and magenta heals) while MJ went for a flowy dress that was perfect for this Floridian fall afternoon!

As favors, not only Jennifer handmade some cute signs with the name of the guests, they also have little bags of coffee beans ready to grind!

Being the coffee lover I am, of course, I am going to use the coffee beans for the rings!

Instead of cake, they opted for a tower or cruffins (croissants and muffins) stuffed with  Nutella and cream from Born & Bread Breadhouse! (It was so delicious!)

Time to get ready!

They decided to get ready together but not completely to surprise themselves during the first look. It was so nice for MJ having her stylist there. No stress going out to get her hair done! The main room was so big that we decided to do the first look there. Jennifer got ready first and left the room while MJ got ready, helped by her mom!

I love first looks! It is such an intimate and relaxed time of just the two before sharing the whole day with their family and friend. It also helps us capture shots of the sunset before the ceremony, without having to rush after it.

Jennifer and MJ decided to walk themselves to the ceremony area. The wind was blowing, the sun was about to set and I couldn't ask for a more perfect background to capture this!

Their good friend Jillian, with the help of MJ's brother Guy, performed the ceremony. The whole ceremony was funny, heartful and filled with love. It paid off the time they spend putting it together because it truly represented them!

The wind didn't cooperate and the unity candle ceremony became a symbolic unity candle ceremony! But not even that could stop these too to enjoy their day!

MJ's father side of the family is Italian. So not only did he read some beautiful words to them, MJ's aunt followed with reading the same in Italian!

They decided to incorporate a small toast between them as part of the ceremony, which I thought it was a brilliant idea!

After doing some formals, MJ's dad and aunt decided to do an Italian toast, both in English and Italian! We had an amazing dinner and it was time to party!

The only wedding protocol that Jennifer & MJ did was the first dance. I love that they did! Look at their face while dancing! Can you tell how much they love each other?

A little impromptu father and daughter dance brought one of my favorite photos of the night. (It could be that I am a daddy's girl myself and I am bias? ;) )

At the end of the night, this two couldn't have any more perfect day! The amount of love and good vibes that came not only by their love but from the people who loved them was incredible. It reminded me once more why I love to shoot weddings!

Jennifer & MJ, Thanks for the honor to be there and capture your day! It was such a fun and intimate event! Thank you! Love, Sharma
