Vintage Florida Wedding - Creative Loafing Space - Dannette + Devin

Dannette and Devin had a beautiful Vintage Florida Wedding in the heart of Ybor Historic Center in Tampa. The Creative Loafing Space was the venue for both the ceremony and reception of their morning wedding. With its bricks walls, it was a great venue choice for this vintage theme. But the best part of the morning was how radiant Danette and Devin looked! So much love! It was such a fun and happy celebration, Cuban Cigars, salsa dancing and family fun!

I arrived at the venue to find the cutest details inspired by Florida from the 50s. Among their details old Florida artwork, personalized coasters that served as the favors, Cuban cigars and, of course, Flamingos Cake Toppers! My favorite was the centerpieces made out Cuban cigar boxes. It was a great touch!

Now, let me tell you about this dress. This was the dress that Danette was originally using. It was handmade by her mom. Unfortunately, it needed some adjustments and they ran out of time to made them. I am glad that Danette brought in, regardless so we could take some photos!

The ceremony was short and sweet topped with Danette and Devin exchanging vows between laughs and happy tears.

After the ceremony was over, we head down to the street of Ybor to capture the newlyweds while the family enjoyed some Latin cocktail hour not without grabbing some frozen Gasolina drink first!

Danette and Devin were a little nervous to be in front of the camera, but they are naturals and nailed it!

Isn't she a dream? The dress, the mantilla, the sailor moon tattoo!

Photos out of the way, it was time for the reception. They started with their first dance, followed by Daughter/Father and Son/mother dances!

Danette wanted to have a mother/daughter dance to honor also her mama! I thought it was an amazing idea and a great moment for them!

Being a bilingual family (Danette's side is Puerto Rican and Devin is Cuban), after the maid of honor and the best man did their toast, Danette's mom decided to do a toast in Spanish as well!

Now it is time to party!! I love Latin weddings! The music selection is the best and it reminds me of all the times I went merengue and salsa dancing back home in Puerto Rico!

As part of the photobooth, Danette made cut out of photos of their pets including their two cute cockatiels!

At the end of the day, everybody danced the afternoon off and send off the couple with perfect bubble send-off.

Thanks a lot, Danette and Devin, for trusting me to capture your beautiful affair!
